When president Eisenhower founded the People to People program in 1956, his theory was simple: If we promote face to face interaction between people, not governments, these interactions will help bring about lasting world peace.

With the help of my family (THANKS MOM!), I am very proud to announce that I have fundraised 100% of my fees for my People to People trip. Thank you all so much for your support.
TRIP UPDATE:
Thank you to all that have made this trip a reality. During the course of this trip I visited France Italy, and Greece as a People to People student ambassador for peace. I also visited many famous cities like Paris, Venice, and Rome. I even learned a little bit of each language. I also got to see a master sculptor and an expert a blowing glass. Those aren’t very common in my home town.
Not only did I get to see new places, I met many new people. I met delegates (kids) from Texas, California, and Hawaii. Also, I met students at a guest house in France. We even learned traditional Greek dances from some locals.
The People to People program did a great job of matching up a great group of kids. We all got along well. Also the chaperones really made me feel safe in foreign countries.
My parents were also able to relax during the trip because they could track my every move with my rented international cell phone. I hope to have a detailed map of all of the GPS coordinates that I visited on the site soon.
